The last half of Daniel is pretty weird—let's be honest. But this type of writing, "apocalyptic," is intended to encourage us to persevere in the midst of suffering and sin in this world by seeing that God reigns over all and will be victorious. Yet as we come to the end of Daniel 7, we see that such a grand vision does not instantly change our circumstances, and we lament. Listen to Pastor Brett's sermon for more.
