Join us at a new location Sunday at 10am at the Crystal Community Center as we gather for public worship.

Westview Kids

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

— Matthew 19:14

We don't have a program for kids. We have a vision.

The vision we have is of families flourishing under God's design—parents pouring themselves out to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord (Ephesians 6:4). Kids are a tremendous blessing, and parenting is a profound calling. It's also a very challenging calling; that's why we covenant together as members to "educate our children in the Christian faith." We're in this together. We eagerly want to labor with you in showing your kids Jesus that they might follow him with us in all of life.

Sunday Mornings

DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES

We offer classes for kids that aim to help them grow in their knowledge of God's Word and a love for God's people. Classes are held at 9:00am on Sundays in a trimester format with breaks during Advent, Easter, and summer. The local church not only has the opportunity but the responsibility to partner with parents to train and disciple their children.

PUBLIC WORSHIP

In Scripture, when God's people gather for worship, you see all gathered together. There is a time and place for age-specific instruction, but we encourage families to worship together. To aid in the training of little ones to engage in worship, we provide a number of tools: coloring sheets, sermon application directed to children, suckers, books, foyer seating with service audio. If participating as a family, especially with young children, is new or challenging, reach out to one of our pastors. They would love to share strategies and coordinate partners to walk with you in this endeavor.

NURSERY FOR PUBLIC WORSHIP

There is a nursery available during our public worship service for children under four years old. The aim of this class is two-fold: come alongside families in equipping children to join us in public worship and provide support for parents who are thirsty to be refreshed by the Lord.

Volunteers

All volunteers serving with Westview Kids are covenant members, completed a background check, and receive training on preventing and detecting abuse provided by MinistrySafe.

Wellness Policy

Check In

A child who has within the last 48 hours vomited or had a fever of 100.4º or higher, or a serious communicable illness (e.g., meningitis) is not allowed to participate.
Read our full guidelines here.
Check-in begins 15 minutes before the class or service. The check-in stickers serve two purposes:
Child ID – If we need you during the class or service, a text will be sent to the phone number on the sticker.
Child Pick-up – You must present your portion of the sticker before we release your child.
