SERMON - Hope for the Sinning Saint

Our ongoing struggle against sin—our slow sanctification—can lead us to become despondent, or even lead us to think a particular sin is just part of who we are. We need hope to strengthen us in the life of slow sanctification, and it is with the hope of Christ that Paul encourages the Corinthians as he gives thanks to God for them.
