The most pervasive and recurring struggle God's people have had over the millennia is not persecution. It is not political frustration. It is idolatry. From the Garden to Babel, through the Exodus and into Exile—idolatry has been the greatest threat to God's people. And that was true in Corinth, and it is true in Crystal.
